The Procurement & Store Executive is responsible for overseeing the Company’s storeroom and ensuring all stocks, tools, and fire protection materials are well-accounted for. The role includes processing item requests from project sites, ensuring timely issuance of materials, and maintaining accurate records to support smooth construction and fire protection project operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain storeroom inventory of fire protection materials, tools, and equipment.
Ensure accurate stock records through systematic tracking (stock cards / system updates).
Conduct regular stock-take, reconcile discrepancies, and report variances to management.
Process material requisition forms from project teams and ensure timely issuance of requested items.
Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and highlight replenishment needs to management.
Ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling of items in compliance with safety requirements.
Maintain documentation for goods received, issued, and returned to storeroom.
Liaise with internal departments to coordinate movement of materials to and from project sites.
Assist in verifying supplier deliveries against delivery orders before storing items.
Support audit and compliance checks on storeroom and stock records.
