Project Engineer

My client is a world-renowned Western MNC that specializes in manufacturing cable management solutions. The organization is currently expanding, and we are on the lookout for a brand-new Project Engineer to be in-charge of overseeing their manufacturing projects in Singapore.

Job Scope

• Develop and monitor the project timeline and scheduling, while keeping track of the expenditures and ensuring that the project remain cost-efficient.

• Oversee the procurement and allocation of materials and equipment required, by collecting the necessary information during early project development stage, such as pricing and datasheet.

• Support the new product development process as per customer requirements, and working alongside the subject-matter experts to ensure project feasibility and timely deliverables.

• Liaise with multiple stakeholders to ensure that the project is on schedule, as well as managing areas such as cost control and product testing.

• Review technical drawings through understanding the GD&T tolerance requirements and able to use software such as Catia/Solidworks and NX.

• Manage the collection and issuance of APQP, and taking the lead of the project team to meet quality target.

• Assist the sales team in proposing technical solutions to customer requirements.

• Participate in the acceptance and annual review of measuring and testing tools.

• Able to travel overseas occasionally to visit customers and participate in on-site technical exchanges in support of the sales team.

Job Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of project management experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Materials, Chemicals, or a related field.

• Proficient in GD&T knowledge

• Capable of using 3D software such as Solidworks, NX, Catia, Pro-E, etc.
