Senior Firmware Engineer (Yearly Contract) / UP to SGD7, 000 - #1113249

Job Description

• Design, develop, test and debug embedded firmware and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and specifications.

• Participate in firmware development lifecycle—from architecture and design to implementation, validation, and deployment.

• Provide support for customers' requests / issues relating to firmware. Participate in project planning and management. Contribute to system performance tuning and optimization.

• Work closely with hardware engineers, product managers, and other software developers to create robust, efficient, and high-quality firmware solutions to meet client' needs.

• Create quality proof-of-concept mock-ups and prototypes for user, customers and product owner.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging Embedded System technologies and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in embedded device firmware development and have completed full cycle of product development.

• Experienced with various embedded chipset, familiar with I2C/SPI/PWM/ADC/USB peripheral, firmware boot mechanism, device firmware upgrade, digital signature verification.

• Experienced in embedded firmware development for charger solution and developing applications that uses BLE ( Bluetooth Low Energy ) wireless communication will be advantageous.

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• This position will be on a rolling contract yearly, subjected to conversion depending on the organization's business needs.
