Responsibilities:

• Assists the Assistant Manager (Head Maintenance) in managing the
  maintenance of the permanent way systems in NEL and SPLRT so as to
  ensure the safety, reliability and availability, while meeting the standards
  agreed with the Operating Department and Regulator, with focus on the
  Civil & Structures (CS) aspect

• Assist Head Maintenance to oversee the permanent way systems
  maintenance of NEL and SPLRT, with specific focus on CS

• Lead the team in the planning and scheduling of the maintenance tasks

• Ensure all maintenance activities, inclusive of documentation, are
  completed and in are in accordance with applicable quality standards.

• Identifies any job hazard and implement control measures

• Identifies staff's training needs and implements training schemes

• Participate and contribute in the Department's decision-making process on promotion, rewards and disciplinary actions

• Explore innovations to improve work processes

• Ensures strict compliance and adherence to the safety rules and
  regulations

• Managing and working with external contractors when applicable

• Leading and preparing the inspection teams for internal and external audits

• Any other work assigned by the Assistant Manager or HOD

Requirements:

• Minimum recognized Degree in Engineering

• Possess good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

• Good in analysis of data
