As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Participate in the execution of facilities management programmes, including preventive, corrective and cyclical maintenance activities for assigned premises.

• Work with the Manager to prepare operating and capital expenditure budgets, track costs, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Support tender and contract processes: assist in sourcing, evaluating bids, negotiating terms, and recommending awards.

• Supervise and coordinate outsourced service providers to ensure service levels and performance standards are met.

• Collaborate with internal engineers and managing agents to ensure building systems and equipment are well maintained, with timely repairs and replacements carried out.

• Troubleshoot day-to-day building and facilities issues, investigate root causes, and recommend solutions.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards or risks, and follow up with corrective actions to maintain workplace safety and health standards.

• Provide support in emergency situations (including after office hours if required) by responding promptly to incidents and assisting with contingency planning.

• Handle requests from internal stakeholders regarding facilities-related matters.

• Assist with preparation for audits and compliance reviews.

• Undertake other related duties as assigned by the Manager.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management is preferred.

• Broad knowledge of facilities management practices, with exposure to real estate functions such as planning, development, project execution, and asset management.
