Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital is Singapore’s only independent referral veterinary hospital, offering advanced care across small animal surgery, internal medicine, neurology, exotics, cardiology, and emergency & critical care.

We are now offering a 12-month Rotating Internship Programme designed for recent veterinary graduates who wish to broaden their clinical experience and develop advanced skills under the mentorship of board-certified specialists.

This intensive programme provides structured training across our core departments and is the perfect foundation for veterinarians intending to specialise or pursue advanced clinical practice.

Programme Structure

Duration: 12 months

Core Rotations (approx. 13 weeks each):

• Internal Medicine

• Surgery

• Emergency & Critical Care (ECC)

• Neurology & Exotics

Elective Rotations (4 weeks):
Options may include Cardiology, Radiology, Dermatology, ICU, or other specialties.

Training Includes:

• Daily inpatient rounds and case discussions

• Hands-on patient management (admissions, diagnostics, treatments, follow-ups)

• Exposure to advanced imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy)

• Assisting in surgical and critical care procedures

• Client communication and discharge planning

• Regular evaluations, case presentations, and mentorship by senior clinicians

Eligibility Requirements

• Veterinary degree from AVMA, RCVS, or AVBC accredited schools

• Degrees from UK, Australia, New Zealand, and AVMA-accredited US schools are recognised

• Or successful completion of one of the following:

  • RCVS Statutory Examination for Membership

  • North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) via ECFVG certification

  • National Veterinary Examination (NVE)

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (fixed department internships are available for vets with 1+ years experience)
