Compliance & Control Analyst (Bank KYC Operations | 1-Year Contract) - #1112079

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled KYC reviews across client types and risk classes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal standards.

• Monitor and track KYC records, develop action plans for expiring records, and prevent overdue cases.

• Identify and escalate suspicious product usage or activities from an AML perspective to senior management.

• Conduct client identification, verification, and screening processes, including PEP/SPF (Sanctions Screening) checks.

• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) when required, including negative news and social media reviews.

• Validate customer details such as address, employment, and other key information using approved internal and external sources.

• Partner with internal teams and Relationship Managers to obtain required documentation for KYC reviews.

• Maintain accuracy standards (90%+) in all KYC records and ensure proper documentation.

• Escalate technical or procedural issues to management for resolution.

• Ensure files pass Quality Control (QC) and Business Approval (BA) reviews, addressing discrepancies promptly.

• Engage with customers directly when required to complete KYC requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• 5–8 years’ experience in KYC, AML, Due Diligence, or banking (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, due diligence processes, and banking systems.

• Recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in KYC/AML preferred.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and present findings clearly.

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
