Job Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing safety, health and environment management system;

• Plan, organize, develop, implement, monitor and review on the WSH requirements for all project premises as per legal requirements and organizational needs;

• Develop, monitor and manage company safety program and policies;

• Conduct safety inspection, internal audit, emergency exercises, safety briefing (walk to talk), training and organize safety events;

• Review existing safety policies and ensure compliance to the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and any applicable Regulations and client requirements;

• Update and manage relevant records required under the WSHA and generate EHS management reports;

• To assist the Project Manager/Project Director in implementation of safety procedures;

• To recommend measures to the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace where it is reasonably practicable, to minimize the risk at the workplace;

• To investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence;

• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B);

• Candidate with WSQ Certificate in Supervise Work in Confined Space Operations is preferred;

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;

• Good written and verbal communication skills;

• Preferably possess own vehicle.

• Possess knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act.
