About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our transformer manufacturing team. You will play a vital role in designing and developing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards while contributing to innovative, efficient solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and hands-on experience in power systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare electrical calculations, cost estimates, and technical curves for tender submissions.

• Analyze requirements and ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and other industry standards.

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support throughout the tender lifecycle.

• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain accurate quotes for special accessories and equipment.

• Prepare electrical designs and winding BOMs for transformer manufacturing, including schematics and layout drawings.

• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to optimize design performance.

• Support ad-hoc tasks such as site surveys, technical meetings, and approval drawings.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Electrical Power Engineering preferred).

• 1+ year of experience in the electrical/transformer or power systems industry.

• Programming knowledge (C, C++, etc.) and process automation (Excel Macros and/or VBA) will be an added advantage.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D; knowledge of data analytics/digital workflows is a plus.
