Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8.30am - 6pm  
Work Location: Headquarter (Nearest MRT : Joo Koon. Right beside MRT - 1 min from MRT)
Contract Duration: 2 Years
Salary: Up to $6,000/month + 1 month bonus per year

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Manager (Commercial Excellence) to join our team. This role focuses on driving operational and strategic excellence across supplier-related programmes by leveraging strong data analysis, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.

You will play a critical role in ensuring data-driven decision-making, upholding internal governance standards, and streamlining supplier engagement processes to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse complex datasets to identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective or preventive actions to drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure accurate billing and timely tracking of supplier incentives and allowances; monitor progress and collaborate with the buying team to meet commercial targets.

• Develop and automate performance dashboards and scorecards using digital tools to track vendor performance and support category teams with actionable insights.

• Coordinate user testing, gather dashboard requirements, and liaise with the data team for system access and implementation.

• Support business analysis including margin analysis, cost tracking, business metrics monitoring, and respond to ad hoc data requests from stakeholders.

• Assist procurement teams in contract management, ensure compliance with contract approval processes, and track follow-ups on outstanding items.

• Manage project deliverables, timelines, supplier communications, and maintain proper documentation for key initiatives.

• Track compliance processes including Code of Conduct declarations and supplier governance activities.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in functions such as Finance Shared Services, Commercial Analytics, Commercial Excellence, Procurement Operations, or Backoffice Commercial Functions.

• Candidates with logistics/supply chain experience will not be considered.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, PivotTables).

• Strong data analytics skills using tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics.

• Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks, BigQuery, etc.

• Ability to streamline and automate reports and dashboards effectively.

• Systematic and logical thinking with a strong problem-solving mindset.

Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:

• Experience in managing or coaching a team of executives.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and suppliers.

Must-Haves:

• Strong foundation in data analytics (SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

• Background in commercial, finance, or procurement support roles

• Not from logistics or supply chain backgrounds
