About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to oversee our HR function in Singapore and drive our people strategy. You will manage day-to-day HR operations while leading initiatives in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation & benefits, and HR compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves for execution and thinking strategically about he long-term growth and success of our people and culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Develop and execute hiring strategies to attract top talent in Singapore’s competitive market.
Manage full recruitment cycle: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Build a strong employer brand to position us as a preferred workplace.
2. HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee daily HR administration through the junior HR admin, ensuring accuracy in employee records, leave management, and payroll coordination.
Ensure full compliance with MOM regulations, work pass applications/renewals, and labour law requirements.
Maintain and improve HR policies, handbooks, and procedures.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture
Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, retention, and productivity.
Organise regular check-ins, surveys, and team activities to strengthen culture.
Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations matters.
4. Performance Management & Development
Implement structured appraisal cycles and KPI frameworks.
Partner with department heads to define career progression paths and development plans.
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant learning programs.
5. Compensation, Benefits & Budgeting
Review and benchmark salaries to stay competitive while controlling HR costs.
Recommend benefits enhancements to improve retention.
Track and manage HR budget and headcount planning.
What We’re Looking For
6–10 years’ HR generalist experience including strong exposure to recruitment in Singapore.
Familiar with MOM regulations, work pass processes, and Singapore HR best practices.
Experience in both strategic HR planning and day-to-day execution.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced SME / growth company environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
