Duties and Responsibilities:
Capabilities Development
Lead the development and implementation of Group and partners OEMs’ new repair capabilities. gather market data, investment requirements, perform feasibility studies. Develop new test benches, Coordinate trainings
Analyze technical data, gather market data, investment requirements to perform feasibility studies and Return on Investment.
Develop, source new equipment, consumables and chemicals and support investments linked to testing & repair policies.
Drive the progress of the tasks, pilot projects’ milestones review, report advancement, track investments and expenses, monitor contractors and suppliers, devise maintenance plans.
Perform self-assessments, engineering studies, build up justification file and liaise with QA for smooth airworthiness application and repair capability integration.
Liaise with the OEMs to clarify any confusion
Establish calibration requirements
Review Testability and perform Shop validation
Follow-up the testing & repair ramp-up with the workshops and support the Entry into Service for new programs.
Develop and draft user documentations and training materials. Conduct briefing or training sessions.
Ensure SEDSA contract terms & conditions are understood & satisfied. Pro-actively manage contractual issues with 3rd Parties and suppliers.
Manage SAFRAN OEMs Support investment and be actively involved in repair policies
Develop excellent relationships across multiple organizations & with all levels of workshops and other Company personnel.
Safeguard interest of SAFRAN ELECTRONICS & DEFENCE SERVICES ASIA (SEDSA) and partners OEMs
Support the Entry into Service for new programs
Develop the Integrated Logistic Support at SEDSA levels
Support & maintain new capabilities
Coordinate with Product Support Engineer (PSE), and Operations personal to ensure optimal customer support
Assist Maintenance personals when required.
Implement systems or components modifications following notification of change for Service Bulletins (SB), Service Information Letters (SIL) or CMM. Support workshop implementation of new requirements upon fleet upgrade and retrofit campaigns.
Assist on Request for Information or Request for Quotation for technical/commercial proposals
Help sourcing for material, suppliers, 3rd parties, alternatives
Take a pro-active approach, initiate creative solutions to maintenance issues and assist the workshops in implementing best practices, Continuous Improvement, LEAN operations, cost reductions and applying lessons-learned from previous or bench-marked experiences
Ensure that communication between all stakeholders – HQ, OEMs, Workshops, Operation, QA, Sales, CI, Supply Chain, Customers, and Suppliers - is optimum.
Report to management. Flow down relevant and timely information.

Comply with all health, safety and environment (HSE) regulations as prescribed by law and company’s policies.
Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations.
Perform any other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering
At least 3 years of Aviation Engineering experience, Technical Support Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Operations, in OEM or MRO environment
Proficient in product support and trouble shooting procedures
Hands-on experience on design and wiring of electronics test fixtures
Experience in OEM technical support, or related MRO operations/engineering
Must be familiar with technical support environment, processes, and manuals used for aircraft maintenance. Working knowledge of the Aviation Airworthiness requirements like Part 145 is advantageous
Effective Project Management and interpersonal skills
Experience in calibration requirements and procedures
Proficient with Microsoft software applications
Working knowledge of the Aviation Airworthiness requirements like Part 145 is advantageous
Sound knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9000 and AS9110
Excellent attitude, good team player, motivated, driven, committed, reliable. Take ownership of the projects
Rigorous and organized. Ability to multi task in a dynamic environment
Excellent communications skills. Well versed in written and spoken English
Able to think ahead, process data, make decisions and solve problems.
