Project Engineer (Water Treatment) - #1106964

Job Description:

• Project execution for water and wastewater treatment system projects: desalination plants, sewage treatment plant, industrial water and wastewater treatment plant.

• Develop detailed design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and basic design.

• Review project specification to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.

• Prepare equipment datasheets (equipment data sheets, valve lists, equipment list, piping schedule, etc).

• Review and collaborate with designer/drafter to develop complex equipment skid 3D model.

• Review of supplier, fabricator and sub-contractor quotation and deliverable to ensure compliance with project specification.

• Coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.

• Project engineering schedules and forecasts.

• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project engineering work; Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.

• Monthly project status reports and change orders.

• Monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices.

• Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.

• Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.

• Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.

• Ensure that project charges are correctly represented for accounting’s closing process.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.

• Candidates with knowledge of water treatment, wastewater, environmental engineering is preferred.

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Good in verbal and written communication skills in English.

• General computer knowledge is essential (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS outlook).

• Willing and able to travel overseas frequently.
