Warehouse Assistant - #1107303

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Inbound & Outbound Operations

• Perform daily inbound and outbound logistics processes, including receiving and sorting of goods.

• Coordinate and supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure timely deliveries.

• Maintain warehouse security and adhere to safety procedures and protocols.

• Liaise with delivery personnel on issues relating to deliveries, goods issue, or returned goods.

• Co-ordinates and liaise with various departments on orders to ensure order fulfilment and timely dispatch.

• Assist in training warehouse staff on operational procedures.

• Assist with packing, labelling, and recycling processes for returned goods.

• Follow all operational procedures according to ISO standards.

2.       Inventory & Stock Management

• Track stock inventory within the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).

• Conduct routine stock checks (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).

• Make sure products are stored safely and neatly.

3.       General Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department.

• Warehouse Knowledge: Ability to handle warehouse tasks like receiving, storing, and sending goods.

• Teamwork: Work well with others in a team.

• Physical Strength: Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and standing for long periods.

• Time Management: Plan work efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Basic Computer Skills: Competent in using computers and warehouse systems.

• Safety Awareness: Understand and follow warehouse safety rules.

REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary school education or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

• Valid forklift license is required.

• Proficient in basic computer use.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• 5.25 day work week (Monday to Friday and Alternate Saturday)
