Programme Assistant – Special Needs (Full-Time)
Location: Singapore
Salary: Basic $2,060 + Housing Allowance $500
Are you passionate about supporting individuals with special needs? We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Programme Assistant to join our team in delivering quality care and meaningful engagement for our clients.
What You'll Do
You will play a key role in supporting the daily care, development, and emotional well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing Individual Care Plans (ICPs) and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for each client, and tracking their progress through regular documentation.
Leading and assisting in daily routines such as grooming, meals, toileting, and therapeutic or enrichment activities.
Building positive relationships with families and caregivers, providing timely updates on progress and centre-related matters.
Managing behavior through appropriate intervention techniques and ensuring a safe, supportive, and hygienic environment.
Taking initiative to lead internal committees, guide junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
GCE ‘O’ Levels or NITEC in Nursing / Community Care / Social Service
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with persons with disabilities
Strong skills in behavior management, especially for children
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Positive, adaptable, proactive team player
