Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Instructional Leadership
Set vision and goals for your domain/level/track
Design, implement and evaluate tailored school-based curriculum and pedagogy
Customise assessments to enhance learning outcomes
Monitor instructional effectiveness and student progress
Holistic Student Development
Champion integration of IEP/ITP goals into lesson planning
Lead character-building and social-emotional development initiatives
Collaborate with Allied Health Professionals and families for better outcomes
Professional & People Development
Develop professional growth roadmaps for teachers
Lead in-house training, mentoring and learning communities
Provide coaching, feedback and evaluation for direct reports
Strategic Projects & Partnerships
Lead cross-functional school initiatives and programmes
Build partnerships with caregivers, professionals, and the wider community
Develop communication materials for stakeholders
Organisational Leadership
Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism and innovation
Align team goals with the school’s mission and vision
Manage domain budgets and resources effectively
What You Bring
Diploma in Special Education (NIE-trained)
Min. 5 years of experience in special education, including 2 years in a senior/leadership role
Proven ability to lead teams, drive instructional excellence and manage change
Deep understanding of SPED curriculum, pedagogy and student development
Courageous, compassionate and committed to inclusive education
A leader who models the MISSION Framework and Serving Leadership principles
