Materials Supervisor - #1106652

Materials Supervisor is responsible to Engine Planning Executive for:

1.      Identify and manage material storage condition

2.      Maintain temperature control storage area and Yellow Cabinet as necessary

3.      Issue serviceable label for customer parts and repaired components after performing Good Receipt procedure, as required

4.      Carry out general visual inspection during receive-in of parts

5.      Ensure all relevant document (e.g., ARC, COC, repair report) are accompanied with new and/or repaired parts

6.      Supervise and coordinate internal logistics for all materials, components, and modules including materials issuance

7.      Supervise the management of unserviceable and quarantine materials and components by ensuring the timely update and shipment of unserviceable materials

8.      Coordinate with central logistics on all inbound/outbound shipments

9.      Carry out/Oversee receiving and dispatch process for all shipments, including but not limited to, the following:

Raise purchase request (PR) and/or purchase order (PO) for third party repair

Update SAP, as necessary, on movement of parts that are sent to third party supplier

10. Ensure and deliver daily/weekly inventory reports

11. Coordinate with scheduler and bay planners on induction and/or build dates to ensure material and component availability

12. Ensure all parts in Daily Shortages Sheet (DSS) arrive in time per engine build schedule

13. Ensure sufficient material cage carts available for engine disassembly

14. Ensure sufficient packaging available for external shipments, including module transport boxes, cartons, and crates

15. Coordinate with supplier for fabrication of transportation containers as required

16. Lead a team of material officers in-charge of their respective key roles and delegate additional duties as required

17. Such other duties as assigned by Executive, Engine Planning

Requirements

·       Minimal diploma holder

·       Preferably with experience working in the aviation supply chain industry

·       Must have supervisor experience
