Job Scope:

• Support the migration of IT systems from physical servers to a secure government cloud platform.

• Set up and manage cloud systems using VMware tools like vSAN, NSX, and vCenter.

• Build and maintain containers and clusters using VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes.

• Use automation tools (like Aria Automation and GitLab CI) to speed up system setup and app deployment.

• Manage and support both Linux and Windows servers, including web servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS).

• Monitor cloud systems to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Apply cybersecurity best practices like system hardening and running security checks.

• Work closely with other IT teams and government cybersecurity experts.

• After the migration, continue to maintain, improve, and secure the cloud systems.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Professional certifications like CISSP, VCP, CKA, or CKAD are preferred

• Hands-on experience in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware Tanzu, and Kubernetes

• Experience with automation tools such as Aria Automation (vRealize) and GitLab CI

• Practical knowledge of deploying and managing Kubernetes and VMware Tanzu environments

• Good knowledge of IT security practices, including system hardening and performing security tests

• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows server administration, including web servers like Tomcat, Apache, and IIS

• Able to work in high-security environments and collaborate with government cybersecurity teams

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
