About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Incavo Pte Ltd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level mechanical design solutions that contribute to the success of our engineering projects in the Tai Seng North-East Region.

What you'll be doing

1. Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components, specially in test socket contact module and thermal solution design.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into practical design solutions

3. Conduct design reviews, performance analyses, and optimizations to ensure the quality and reliability of mechanical designs

4. Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and test plans

5. Support the implementation and commissioning of mechanical systems at project sites

6. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in the engineering industry

3. Proficient in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Up-to-date knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, design standards, and industry regulations

7. Project management experience and the ability to work to tight deadlines
