Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Manager with at least 3 years of relevant experience in roadwork maintenance, cable & pipe laying work, mill and patch, and civil engineering works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing contract outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and manage contractual agreements for civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including those involving government projects.
Evaluate tender documents, manage cost estimations, and oversee procurement activities.
Administer contracts from pre-award to post-contract stages, including claims, variations, and extensions of time.
Ensure compliance with BCA guidelines, relevant local regulations, and company policies.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Monitor project budgets, payments, and timelines to support project delivery.
Support risk management strategies related to contracts and procurement.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Contract Management role within the construction industry.
Strong working knowledge of contract law, BCA regulations, and public sector contract frameworks.
Experience with government projects is highly preferred.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
