Responsibilities
a. Category Lead for Transportation/Accommodation
· Strategic Sourcing and Category Planning - Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on cost efficiency, service quality and innovation. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decision
· Supplier Relationship Management - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and enhance service quality. Conduct supplier evaluations and manage contracts to ensure compliance and performance standards are met
· Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement strategies support overall business objectives. Align procurement activities with company policies and industry regulations
· Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement - Track key performance indicators (KPIs), eg. cost saving targets, to assess the effectiveness of procurement strategies and supplier performance. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and outcomes
· Operational Procurement – Manage the day-to-day source to payment process, including handling of purchase requests, sourcing, negotiations, contract management, vendor management and exception management
b. Procurement Manager-in-charge for overseas Business Unit
· Strategic/Operational Procurement – Support day-to-day procurement transactions, such as sourcing, evaluating, recommending award and contracting. Identify opportunities to drive cost optimization and value creation
· Compliance and Policy Alignment – Ensure stakeholders understand compliance and procurement requirement and those procurement activities performed by the business units are in order
· Business Partnering – Collaborate and bridge procurement and Business Unit to align sourcing activities and all procurement related processes to meet organizational objectives
Requirements
· Degree from recognized institutions in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or related discipline
· 5 - 8 years of relevant experiences in both strategic sourcing and operational procurement role
· Experience in supporting overseas business unit
· Experience in managing procurement teams or functions
· Proficient in using ERP systems, like SAP
· Strong analytical skills to conduct spend analysis, supplier evaluation and market research
· Effective written and verbal communication for reporting, influencing and negotiating
· Strong interpersonal skills to work with local/overseas stakeholders
