We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide essential support to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their stay.

Position: Healthcare Assistant
Location: North-East Region
Salary: Up to $2400
 

Job Description:

• Prepare trolleys with water and hot beverages for breakfast, teabreak, lunch, and dinner services, ensuring timely delivery to patients.

• Serve and provide feeding assistance to certain patients as directed by nursing staff.

• Assist in restocking supplies between morning meals, tea breaks, lunch, and dinner services.

• Respond promptly to patients' call bells, relay their requests to the appropriate department, and ensure timely resolution.

• Assist and guide patients to toilets as needed.

• Monitor patients closely, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry supplies, alerting nursing staff to low stock levels.

• Collaborate with nursing staff in changing and cleaning patients when necessary.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the department-in-charge, contributing to the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a rotational shift system (No night/graveyard shifts)

• Minimum PSLE Certificate or equivalent

• Able to read and write in simple English
