Assistant HSE Manager (Construction) - #1104380

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; track and follow up on corrective actions.

• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training programs to promote safety awareness and culture.

• Maintain EHS documentation, monitor environmental compliance, and support continuous safety improvements across the site.

• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure adherence to safety and environmental protocols.

• Participate in incident investigations, support root cause analysis, and prepare reports with recommended actions.

• Assist in developing and enforcing EHS policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans in compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

• Registered WSH Officer (Level C) and ECO with a minimum of 5 years’ EHS experience in a managerial role within a main contractor.

• Strong knowledge of local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting systems/tools.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure and responding effectively to site emergencies.

• Proven leadership in driving a strong safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance on construction sites.
