Project Manager, Facilities Development - #1103799

Reporting to the HOD, you shall be part of the Site & Safety Management Team responsible for the effective planning and implementation of Major A&A construction projects in CGH.

Responsibilities:

• Develop facilities development plan with a strategic vision ensuring the hospital has the infrastructure and facilities capabilities to meet the hospital’s demands as well as long-term capacity, resiliency, and sustainability goals.

• Identify potential hazards and assess risks in the workplace, recommending and implementing measures to mitigate or eliminate them

• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety and health policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

• Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards

• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire drills, first aid, and evacuation procedures

• Collaborate with Development Secretariat in the review and processing of the construction management for the construction packages

• Provide updates of the projects to Senior Management

• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or any other relevant discipline

• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience

• Registered as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM

• MOM Certified Work at Height Supervisor / Assessor / Manager

• Fire Safety Environmental Control officer

• Good knowledge in infrastructural project development, planning and utilization management

• Good knowledge in building regulations, M&E resiliency, built environmental sustainability measures, EHS and WSH requires and other statutory standards
