The Customer Service Executive will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the customer experience by handling SkillsFuture Credit deductions, managing logistics, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for all customers who walk-in or and call-in to SSA.

  • Promptly and effectively address all customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

  • Provide accurate information and assistance to customers regarding class schedules, logistics, and SkillsFuture processes.

  • Efficiently handle and process SkillsFuture Credit deductions for participants prior to the commencement of classes.

  • Handle and resolve customer and SkillsFuture-related issues promptly and effectively.

  • Employ problem-solving skills to address and mitigate any concerns or problems faced by customers.

  • Ensure all necessary documentation and verification processes are completed accurately and promptly.

  • Prepare and issue all necessary class logistics, including attendance records, locker keys, and course materials such as books.

  • Ensure all logistics are managed in a timely manner to support smooth class operations.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all customer interactions, ensuring a positive and respectful communication style.

  • Represent the organization in a manner that reflects its values and commitment to customer satisfaction. Upkeep cleanliness in the receptionist and lounge areas as well as the classrooms

  • Accept payments and handle public training course registrations

  • Scan, sort and save training registration documents in specific folders as instructed

  • Follow up with participants (past and potential participants) on additional courses that they can sign up for

 

This role will also support the Prep Team with the daily setup of classes including but not limited to:

  • Prepare wet and dry ingredients prior to start of class 

  • Assist in stock taking twice a week 

  • Replenish common ingredients (i.e. condiments, seasoning, etc.)

  • Assist in submitting ingredients replenishment orders twice a week 

  • Place prepped ingredients on the workstations/chillers for the upcoming classes 

  • Properly pack and label all ingredients that are to be delivered out

  • Collect prep trays from kitchens at the end of the day 

  • Keep prep rooms clean and tidy 

  • Deep clean prep rooms once a month 

  • Adhere to Food Safety regulations 

  • Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned

  • Good telephone etiquette, professional and punctual

  • Friendly and pleasant disposition and keen on providing the best service for our clients

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills by explaining our diverse training programmes to walk-in and call-in clients

  • Possess a can-do attitude, persistence and a positive mindset towards work

  • Meticulous and attentive to details

  • Responsible, can be trusted and able to work under pressure

  • Independent and a good team player

 

Qualification and Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma in any disciple.

  • Good written and verbal English proficiency is expected. 

  • Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • This position is a 5 day work week from Wednesday to Sunday.

  • This position will be on a 6 months contract. Full/Part time position available.
