Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):

The key purpose of the Snr Analyst, PSE Analytics – Sourcing is to provide Analytics support to the Product Supply Sourcing Enablement Leader.  The role entails maintaining, refreshing and continuing to transform the analytics tools and processes, data visualization dashboards, and ad hoc reporting that enables the Global Sourcing Organization.  

Processes include, but not limited to, vendor global sourcing strategy, product allocation, and vendor performance management.  Visualizations and data integrity responsibilities include Vendor Footprint Dashboard, Product Development Count Dashboard, Spend by Compliance Dashboard, and Vendor Performance Management Tool Dashboard among others.        

This role is responsible for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of analytics and reporting by optimizing, harmonizing, and standardizing sourcing data / analytics processes in our Sourcing organization.

This role involves designing, evaluating, measuring, controlling, and monitoring reporting and analytics processes, working collaboratively across departments (regions/ global), and at times externally with our external partners.

Key Result Areas:

·       Standardize, optimize, and harmonize sourcing reporting processes, identify best practices, create implementation plans and ensure high adoption rates.

·       Develop tools, and drive business insights from data analysis to aid in the Global Sourcing and Allocation Processes across all product groups.

·       Network with stakeholders to understand and build acumen in subject matter and develop credibility in process change management.

·       Partner with the rest of the business analytics team to define applications, tools, automation opportunities to improve the efficiency of sourcing process and enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.

·       Contribute to data governance by identifying opportunities to drive data accuracy and completeness, escalate data quality issues and inconsistencies for assessment and remediation, for vendor related data.

·       Continuously improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying reporting self-service modeling, and production support for users.

·       Perform analysis and support execution of strategic initiatives along with process automation, tools and systems needed to support, drive actionable learnings based on solution execution and communications.

·       Development and maintenance of reporting governance frameworks and processes aligned with Business Partners.

·       Drive user awareness of reporting application/tool functionalities. 

·       Set up training materials and user education to empower users to incorporate the tools in their daily work.

·       Provide training, guidance, and support to end users on report development tools such as Report Designer, Sourcing Strategy Solver, etc.

·       Support the roll-out, User Acceptance Testing and communication to various of different internal stakeholders

·       Excellent Excel, Power Point and Presentation skills. 

·       Tableau, Power BI (or equivalent analytical / Data Visualization software) expertise a plus.

·       Shown capability of data analysis and insights to solve business problems.

·       Python, KNIME, SQL skills a plus.

Pre-Requisite

·       3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain data and analytics transformational role for a global organization.

·       Prior business analyst/data analyst experience valued.

·       Fashion and Apparel experience a plus.

·       Availability to travel
