Job purpose
Responsible for coordinating the daily warehouse activities for the assigned scope in a safe and efficient manner and the adoption of technological devices where necessary to aid in completing the responsibilities assigned. Ensure all customers' requirements are completed and meet their satisfaction level as per SLAs and KPIs.
Responsibility
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
- Monitor stock levels, anticipate shortages and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely reordering of products.
- Coordinate cargo or material-handling security procedures for hazardous goods.
Order Fulfilment
- Coordinate the picking, packing and shipping of orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to order fulfilment and resolve them promptly.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products are properly packaged and labeled.
- Liaise with Customer Service and Support teams and provide progress updates to customers; arrangement for inbound and outbound shipments; check and ensure proper documentations are in placed as per local regulatory requirements (i.e. packing list, BOL etc.).
Quality Assurance
- Inspect and validate stocks (SKUs, colour, size, quantity, defects etc.) against customers' orders.
- Generate supporting documents for non-compliance for follow-up actions.
Operational Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety standards and protocols are adhered to create a safe working environment for all.
- Enforce these within the team.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
- Complete all mandatory training in relation to workplace safety (e.g. 5S).
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness as per local and company's standards.
- Report all workplace accidents to Supervisor/Manager.
- Adhere to corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations.
- Coordinate resolution of facilities, equipment, infrastructure and systems breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Report warehouse issues promptly.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with other departments/teams to complete day-to-day responsibilities as required.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and timely order processing.
Insights and Reporting (For Senior Coordinators Only)
- Generate regular reports and key performance metrics such as order accuracy, shipping times etc.
- Monitor lapse in delivery services and highlight to Supervisor.
- Work closely with Supervisor to address performance and service gaps.
Experience
Minimum 2 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, distribution or related fields
