Job Scope:

• Support the migration of IT systems from on-premise servers to a secure government cloud platform

• Set up and manage cloud infrastructure using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including vSAN, NSX, vCenter

• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for containerized application hosting

• Utilize Aria Automation and GitLab CI pipelines to automate resource provisioning and application deployment

• Manage and support Linux and Windows servers, as well as web servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS)

• Monitor system performance and keep cloud systems running smoothly

• Apply IT security practices such as hardening systems and running security tests

• Work closely with technical teams and government cybersecurity units

• Transition to ongoing cloud infrastructure maintenance, optimization, and IT security management post-migration.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Hands-on experience in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware Tanzu, and Kubernetes

• Experience with automation tools such as Aria Automation (vRealize) and GitLab CI

• Practical knowledge of deploying and managing Kubernetes and VMware Tanzu environments

• Good knowledge of IT security practices, including system hardening and performing security tests

• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows server administration, including web servers like Tomcat, Apache, and IIS

• Able to work in high-security environments and collaborate with government cybersecurity teams

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
