Job Description:
• Collaborate with Events Director and global marketing team to create omni-channel event marketing strategies.
• Execute on marketing strategies and campaigns (print, e-mail, digital).
• Work closely with event sponsors, partners, and vendors to maximize marketing exposure and ensure seamless coordination.
• Manage event website content and analyze event marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports on campaign success, and using insights to optimize future efforts.
• Oversee event video and photo asset maintenance
• Write/edit marketing copy and oversee social media campaign execution.
• Coordinate and update database lists.
• Create sales collateral, such as sell sheets, prospectus and Powerpoint decks.
• Create, update, deploy and analyze post-event surveys.
• Produce event programs, directories, signage and screen graphics with graphic design team.
• Build and update event mobile apps.
• Oversee end-to-end event execution process, ensuring that all logistical elements are seamlessly coordinated and;
• Analyze event data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in operations and provide recommendation.
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities;
International/global mind-set as role involves interfacing with professionals around the world;
Strong creative, strategic and analytical skills;
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and meet deadlines with good attention to detail;
Strong oral and written communications skills and;
Self-motivated and a team-player.
Technical skills (preferred):
• Savvy in Design software (eg: Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Savvy in Canva software
• Basic knowledge of website design
• Basic knowledge of HTML coding
• Onsite AV production
• Understanding of marketing automation platforms (ie Pardot)
• Basic video editing skills
Work Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a events or marketing role, creating engaging experiences and campaigns
• Experience in the travel and/or live events industry preferred
• Experience in B2B marketing preferred
Formal Education or Equivalent:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
