Product Engineering Manager - #1098880

We are looking for a highly motivated self-driven individual with knowledge of engineering management discipline and people management skills. The successful candidate will work with and manage a multi-disciplinary team including Systems, Software, Mechanical, Optical and Electrical engineers to deliver results per project schedule and budget. Our products are complex and state-of-the-art, and we strive on constant improvements. The successful candidate will have to have not only general knowledge of engineering principles, but also have people management skills and be able to report to management of the project progress. The candidate should be proficient on risk management and drive the team to meet projects cost, budget, and schedule, while managing risk to the program.

The successful candidate will apply management skills and technical knowledge to manage the engineering team and deliver results. This requires collaboration and teamwork across different groups within the company. The candidate must be an individual contributor in their technical field. Must demonstrate perseverance and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting with individuals across different geographies and disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications

·       PHD/Masters/

·       At least 5 years’ experience managing and driving technical programs including:

·       Define project scope

·       Review hardware/software design change

·       Coordinate system validation and plan for engineering materials

·       Establish and execute a variety of work plans base on risk, cost, contingency

·       Schedule project plan and justify for resource loading and budgetary spending

·       Strategically plan and maintain quarterly engineering project budgetary spend

·       Minimum 2 years' team management experience

·       Good interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate across divisions and regions

·       Good presentation and communication skills
