* 5 days work week, Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 5.15pm

* Location: Bedok (walking distance from MRT)

* Business trip is required to Southeast Asia

* Strong experience in SolidWorks or AutoCAD

Our client is a US MNC manufacturing company of high-quality electronic components

Objectives:

You will play a crucial role in developing innovative electronic components that power the products of tomorrow. In this position, you will work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative customer-focused environment to determine and translate customer needs into effective design solutions

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new electronic components, continuously improving existing products to meet evolving customer and market requirements.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure the successful implementation of design projects

• Conduct testing and analysis to validate the performance, reliability and manufacturability of component designs.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies and regulations to identify opportunities for innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

• Giving concise and informative demo/presentations to other team members or product managers about design concepts.

• Preparing product documentation like bill of material, material specification and process documentation.

• Evaluating processes and design improvements.

• Coordinating with the Global R&D team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical/Electronics) or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in passive electronic component design, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

• Experience with regulatory compliances (EMC) and industrial standards would be advantageous.

• Familiar with schematics capture/layout design tools and electronics measurement instruments like Oscilloscope and data logger etc.

• Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) will be advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of electronics fundamental and principles.

• Willing to travel frequently within South East Asia and beyond on a need to basis.
