Triage Officer (NAVH)
Location: Toa Payoh
Contract: 1 year, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
As a NAVH Triage Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for violence-related calls. Your job is to assess the urgency and severity of each case, gather info from various sources like schools and family members, and make quick, accurate decisions about the right response and next steps. You’ll also coordinate with agencies and families to ensure cases are handled smoothly and with care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage callers to evaluate the severity of situations

• Collect and verify information from multiple sources

• Conduct risk and safety assessments

• Decide response priority and appropriate referrals

• Coordinate warm transfers to partner agencies

• Collaborate with family members and agencies for support

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Multilingual skills (Malay, Tamil, Mandarin) are a plus

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills

• Willingness to work shifts, as NAVH operates 24/7
