Role Overview

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Pre-School Teacher to work closely with young children and their families. In this role, you’ll:

• Follow lesson plans & activities prepared according to level and our centre’s curriculum

• Adhere to ECDA’s requirements and policies

• Comply with Masjid Al-Istiqamah SOPs and internal policies

• Collaborate cooperatively in a supportive team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily lesson plans that reflect both ECDA standards and our Islamic values

• Prepare and adapt learning materials to suit different developmental levels

• Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about each child’s progress

• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for program improvements

Qualifications & Skills

1. Education

• Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE)

• Candidates with an Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) are welcome to apply

2. Skills & Competencies

• Comfortable engaging with parents and guardians

• Ability to converse in both English and Malay (to communicate with Malay-speaking parents and students)

3. Experience

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
