CNC machinist – O&G (ID: 675004)| Budget up to S$2.8k (ATTN: SUNJ) - #1095147

Job scope:

·       Reports to the team leader for day-to-day work assignment.

·       To achieve the manufacturing schedule, according to job assigned.

·       Setup and operate lathe machine, complete machining task assigned duly and efficiently.

·       Responsible for quality of the parts produced.

·       Perform self-inspection on finished work-piece.

·       Prepare / arrange raw material, tooling and fixture for next machining process and programs for set-up.

·       Maintain good housekeeping, safety and general machine maintenance.

·       Perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) activities such as minor maintenance that includes cleaning, inspection, lubrication etc.

·       Ability to perform rotating and weekends shift work at moment’s notice

·       Actively participate and involve in appropriate development of HSE matters in areas of hazard / incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls

·       Ensure work activities and behavior achieved conformity to the HSE policy, objectives and procedures outlined in the HSE management system and compliance to applicable local legal requirements.

·       In addition to these duties/responsibilities employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required

Job requirement:

·       Relevant Industrial Training Certification or NITEC in engineering discipline.

·       Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

·       Analytical and creative approach to problem solving

·       Ability to communicate effectively on all levels

·       Familiar and competent in using Precision Measuring Instruments

·       OCTG experience is an advantage
