Field Service Technician (Machinery / Class 3 / Mechanical + Electrical) DP50 - #1097001

Responsibilities

• To deliver or collect machines for after sale and hire fleet customers.

• Performance of repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance program and quotation job on site.

• Conduct Training for Operators on the correct method of operation and daily check maintenance of the new and hired fleet machine on site.

• Assist PE inspection for sale and hire machine fleet on site.

• Any other technical related aspects as and when required.

• Responsibility for complete customer satisfaction within the work area. Assists in planning, communicating, and coordinating support plans with customers.

• Complies with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value.

• General service report writing for internal and external customers.

• Ensure the excellence of services by strictly adhering to company standards and policies

• Thoroughly follow up on all open technical issues until the problems are fully resolved

• To travel and carry out machine troubleshooting, repair work or rectification and servicing jobs onsite.

• Write and submit service reports to customers based on the job done.

• Work as a team to maintain and expand customer base.

• Collaborate with the team to manage and schedule service calls effectively.

• To record and submit all service data and reports as and when required

• To provide accurate, factual reports to the team leader or technical support personnel to enable informed decisions to be made on a course of action to resolve product issues.

• To carry out machine diagnostic using special diagnostic tools such as,

-Manipad Diagnostic Tool

-I.V Special Tools

-Boom Lift / Scissors Lift Diagnostic Calibrator Tool

• To utilize Manitou, Genie, JLG & Skyjack diagnostic tools

Requirements

• Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive

• Minimum of 2-3 years of field service support.

• Ability to work independently.

• Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic System troubleshooting skill.

• Experience working with a wide range of brands and models in the aerial equipment industry.

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software

• Proven experience in servicing boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other aerial work platforms.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

• Valid driving license (mandatory)
