QA/QC Inspector - #1095901

Report to: QA/QC Manager

Min Qualifications / Experience :

1)      Degree/Diploma/ITE in Mechanical Engineering holder with 2 years relevant experience

Job Skills Required:

1. Knowledge in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point and 

      related spreadsheet software.

2)    Must be able to work well with others in a team setting.

3)    Ability to work independently and can take the stress at work

4)    Must be able to effectively handle many concurrent projects.

5)    AWS, ASME AS, PD5500.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Establish, implement and maintain the QC system for products that need to comply with ASME codes.

2. Develop Inspection Test Plan (ITP), inspection and testing procedures.

3. Supervise and guide the team of QC inspectors and administrative assistant.

4. Assist in internal & external audits per company's QHSE systems.

5. Assist QA/QC Manager in the operations of the QA/QC department.

6. Prepare, control and maintain the QA/QC Manual in accordance with ASME code & ISO standard.

7. Perform inspection in accordance with ITP requirements.

8. Coordination with 3rd party inspector or NDE inspector to perform the inspection.

9. Control the welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualification records.

10. Oversee the equipment calibration record.

11.  Any Adhoc assignment given by QA/QC Manager.
