We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional to join our Group Finance team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely consolidated financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), solid analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
Produce timely and accurate monthly group consolidated financial reports and supporting schedules, including presentation slides and variance analysis.
Review financial reports submitted by group entities and ensure consistency and accuracy.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and management reporting.
Draft Group Financial Statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
Prepare, plan, and analyze annual budgets and forecasts across the group.
Manage reporting timetables, audit schedules, and budgeting cycles to ensure timely completion.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, statutory and legislative requirements, and internal group policies.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities on financial and statutory matters.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial procedures and reporting efficiency.
Support and execute ad hoc finance projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree in Finance/Accounting or a recognized Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
Minimum 2 years of relevant finance experience or at least 1 year of audit experience.
Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS and group consolidation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Meticulous with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
Fluent in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
Strong planning and audit skills are advantageous.
