Location: Novena

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 830am to 6pm; Friday 830am to 530pm

Responsibilities:

• Lead software engineering, quality assurance, and DevSecOps technical functions within product teams

• Define engineering scope of work based on features and requirements, overseeing day-to-day development

• Make technical decisions, advising the team on software development approaches and mitigating potential drawbacks

• Integrate software engineering, quality assurance, DevSecOps, and MLOps frameworks, guidelines, and processes into software development activities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve software development processes to ensure reliability and maintainability of released products

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define software features and implement products that meet business needs

• Guide the engineering team to write production-quality code and deliver products to end-users

• Manage team resources and work performance, aligning individual aspirations with stakeholder requirements

• Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the software engineering team

• Stay up-to-date with new AI and software engineering practices, technologies, and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field

• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, quality assurance, or system engineering, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience

• Public Service experience is an added advantage

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM)

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning and deep learning solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or Kubeflow
