Operations & Compliance Analyst - #1174428

The candidate is responsible for managing new client account onboarding process & performing compliance checks, whilst overseeing payment operations to ensure accurate & timely transactions processing and to provide support across relevant teams.

Compliance

• To manage new client account opening process and perform compliance checks (eg: KYC review, CDD, EDD etc) for individual, corporate and institutional clients.
• Identify and escalate potential red flags, including adverse media, PEP status, sanctions or unusual activity patterns.

Operations

• Oversee payment operations and to ensure accurate & timely transaction processing (eg: daily reconciliations & payment transfers)
• Provide operations support (eg: service requests, operational requests, managing escalations from servicing teams)
• Collaborate and support relevant teams with investigations to determine root causes of cases
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information across relevant platforms and systems.
• Coordinate remediation and resolution steps with the business for issues and incidents
• Maintain oversight of operational risks and escalate any critical issues to management.
• Liaise with external vendors to escalate and address identified issues

Requirements

• Min 2 years of experience in an operations or KYC / AML onboarding role, preferably within Financial Services
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (eg: Basic knowledge of formulas, vlookups and pivot tables)
• Proficient in system such as JIRA or/and Salesforce
• Excellent communication skills
