Job Responsibilities

• Review invitations to tender and identify submission requirements, deadlines and key commercial conditions.
• Establish a bid programme and allocate estimating, procurement and technical inputs.
• Review quantities, specifications and tender drawings to identify omissions or inconsistencies.
• Coordinate construction methodology, programme and resource assumptions with delivery teams.
• Obtain subcontractor and supplier quotations and evaluate scope coverage and exclusions.
• Review pricing build-ups, preliminaries, allowances and commercial exposure.
• Maintain tender clarification registers and coordinate responses to client queries.
• Prepare bid reviews and explain pricing assumptions, qualifications and risks to management.
• Coordinate final submission documents and obtain the required internal approvals.
• Support negotiations and maintain clear records of agreed changes.
• Hand over successful bids, pricing assumptions and outstanding obligations to project teams.
• Improve estimating records and maintain useful cost and supplier information for future tenders.

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering.
• Main-contractor tendering experience, as specified in the workbook.
• Strong estimating, commercial-review and bid-coordination skills.
• Ability to lead contributors and manage fixed submission deadlines.
• Accurate documentation, negotiation and analytical skills.
