Resident Care

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene.

• Provide continence care, including diaper changing, while maintaining residents' dignity, privacy and comfort.

• Perform basic physiological monitoring, such as checking vital signs, according to established procedures.

• Carry out assigned basic nursing care interventions under the supervision of registered nurses.

• Support nurses during medical emergencies and crisis situations as directed.

• Encourage residents to participate in recreational and life enrichment activities.

Clinical and Operational Support

• Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals during clinical consultations.

• Transfer residents with stable conditions for medical appointments, household activities or hospital visits, following safe handling procedures.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits and other care-related activities.

• Work closely with the nursing team to maintain residents' safety, comfort and well-being.
