Retail Banking Officer (Compliance, AML/KYC, up to $6k) (ID: 714487) - #1172547

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to branches to ensure smooth branch operations
• Conduct operational training and support capability-building for branch teams
• Manage customer complaints end-to-end, including acknowledgements and timely communication of outcomes within stipulated timelines
• Investigate complaints by identifying root cause, recommending corrective actions, and documenting findings
• Prepare analysis and submit reporting updates to internal stakeholders
• Provide AML-related advisory support to branches, including guidance on AML/KYC requirements and standards
• Track and monitor KYC progress and follow up on outstanding items with relevant teams
• Support AML sample checks, including follow-ups and documentation
• Assist with enhanced due diligence (EDD) and suspicious transaction report (STR) related tasks, where required
• Support general compliance work, including coordinating head office requests and regulatory submissions
• Disseminate regulatory updates and support implementation tracking of required actions
• Monitor compliance tasks and follow up on completion status with relevant stakeholders
• Support operational risk and business continuity activities, including risk/control self-assessments and key risk indicator tracking
• Assist in logging and tracking operational risk events and supporting third-party risk management activities
• Participate in periodic business system user access reviews
• Take on additional duties assigned by the supervisor or management as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance or a related discipline
• 1–2 years of relevant experience within the banking industry
• Strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deliver outcomes under tight timelines
• Strong stakeholder management skills and able to work effectively with branch and internal teams
• Comfortable with documentation, reporting, and structured follow-ups
