Requirements

1. Native-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with excellent spoken and written communication skills

2. Relevant professional qualification in Early Childhood Education recognised by ECDA

3. Prior teaching experience with children aged 18 months to 3 years in a preschool setting

4. Genuine passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to working with children

5. Strong interest in and commitment to Montessori education and its principles

6. Montessori qualification or formal Montessori training is highly preferred

7. Strong observation skills and the ability to document children’s learning, development, and progress professionally

8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with parents

9. Patient, responsible, attentive, and highly committed to maintaining high standards of care, safety, hygiene, and professionalism

10. Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and management and to uphold the school’s curriculum, teaching philosophy, policies, and professional standards

Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and teaching philosophy

2. Maintain children's observation records and their progress reports

3. Prepare children's portfolios for PTC sessions in accordance with the school's PTC schedules

4. Establish and maintain good communications and relationships with parents

5. Be responsible for children's general well-being in areas concerning social behaviour, safety and hygiene

6. Work closely with parents, colleagues, and management to maintain a high standard of childcare service
