JOB DUTIES

• Supervising cooks and other kitchen staff
• Ensuring preparation, cooking, and plating dishes to the required standard.
• Ensuring recipes, portion size , presentation, and food quality remain consistent.
• Organizing prep work and assigning tasks to kitchen staff.
• Monitoring food safety, hygiene sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Create and update menus (seasonal specials, tasting menus, promotions)
• Maintain consistent portioning, taste, texture, and presentation
• Enforce safe food handling, sanitation, and temperature controls
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and inspections
• Train cooks on techniques, stations, and quality expectations
• Monitor inventory levels and use patterns
• Place orders, manage vendor relationships, and reduce waste
• Track food costs and help meet budget targets

REQUIRMENTS

• Extensive knowledge in preparing Kobideh,Persian/Mediterranean and other traditional dishes.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and team player
