Job Scopes
- Perform various diagnostic imaging examinations according to hospital SOPs and safety standards.
- Ensure correct patient identification, examination accuracy, image quality and proper documentation.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the examination.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimise unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Conduct daily equipment QA checks and ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly.
- Use PACS for imaging-related work.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director.
- Bachelor in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from recognized institutions.
- Member of professional institutions, local or overseas.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Radiographer in diagnostic imaging facility.
- Experience in sub-specialties preferred as in Ultrasound, Bone Mineral Densitometry and Mammography.
- Those with previous experience in managing Modality areas will be considered for senior position.
- Good customer service, telephone and public relations skill.
- Proficient in MS Office applications – Words, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Working knowledge of PACS system.
