Discipline Support Officer (Barker Road) - #1171100

Duration: Contract (12 Oct 2026 – 20 Nov 2026, with likely extension to 19 Nov 2027)

Location: 60 Barker Road, Singapore 309919

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–5:00pm (incl. 1hr lunch)
• Friday: 7:30am–4:30pm (incl. 1hr lunch)
• No work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary investigations and fact-finding interviews for minor student incidents
• Obtain student/witness statements, compile evidence and prepare incident reports for school leadership
• Update parents on the progress and outcome of investigations
• Supervise students in Behavioural Detention Class (BDC) and Corrective Work Order (CWO) sessions
• Follow up with form teachers on students who miss assigned detention
• Support students on in-house/internal suspension, including liaising with form teachers to maintain learning continuity
• Perform data entry for late-coming records, offences and interventions
• Compile weekly/monthly discipline statistics
• Assist in monitoring student reporting channels
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student information
• Support review of detention, late-coming and corrective work processes during school holidays
• Perform other administrative/operational duties related to student management as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' working experience in a uniformed service background (e.g. Police, Prison Service or equivalent), with involvement in youth-related case investigations
• Experience in restorative practice and behavioural intervention
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask, work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
