Job Summary

The Aircraft Towing Operator is responsible for safely moving aircraft between parking bays, hangars, maintenance facilities, and operational areas using approved towing equipment. The role requires strict adherence to aviation safety regulations and operational procedures to prevent damage to aircraft, equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft towing, pushback, and repositioning activities safely and efficiently.

• Operate aircraft tow tractors and related ground support equipment.

• Conduct pre-operation inspections of towing vehicles, tow bars, and equipment.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams, flight crews, airside operations, and air traffic control during aircraft movement.

• Ensure proper aircraft chocking, marshalling, and securing procedures are followed.

• Monitor towing activities and maintain safe clearance from obstacles and other aircraft.

• Report equipment defects, incidents, and safety hazards promptly.

• Maintain towing and operational records as required.

• Support aircraft recovery and special movement operations when necessary.

• Able to support ad hoc duties as required by supervisor

Requirements

• Experience in aircraft towing, ground handling, or aviation operations preferred.

• Certification in aircraft towing and pushback operations is an advantage.

• Valid class 4 or class 5 Singapore driving license

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
