[Expressing of Interest] Component/Supplier Quality Engineer - #1170155

Our client is a well-established manufacturing group serving customers in the electronics and technology industries. The organisation provides engineering and production support across several business areas, and is currently expanding its engineering and production teams to support new customer programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage supplier and component quality for RF/microwave and electronic components used in production
• Conduct incoming quality inspection and testing of components, and manage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs)
• Perform supplier audits and qualification assessments, and track ongoing supplier performance metrics
• Work with sourcing/procurement teams to resolve component quality issues and drive supplier improvement plans
• Support root cause analysis for component-related non-conformances and field issues
• Maintain approved supplier/component lists and associated quality documentation

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of supplier/component quality engineering experience, ideally in an electronics or RF/microwave components environment
• Experience with supplier audits, SCAR processes, and incoming quality inspection
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent) and root cause analysis tools
• Strong vendor management and communication skills
