Accountant (Trading, LC, up to $6,000) - #1170153

Key responsibilities

• The Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, month-end closing, reporting, GST, audit support and related compliance matters.

• The role also provides commercial and administrative support to the Sales team, including customer documentation, sales reporting, trade finance coordination, bank documentation and contract-related administration.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to Singapore accounts, GST and audit requirements.

• Hands-on experience in AR, AP, general ledger, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.

• Experience with trade finance documentation, Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee or customer portal submissions will be an added advantage.
