Assistant Manager, Mall Operations (Up to 6k + AWS + VB) - #1169450

Our client is an established real estate investor and property manager with a growing portfolio of prominent retail assets in Singapore. They are seeking an experienced mall operations professional to oversee daily operations and maintain a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment for tenants and shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shopping mall, ensuring high standards of safety, cleanliness, security and customer experience.

• Lead and guide the operations team in handling tenant requests, shopper feedback, operational incidents and service-recovery matters.

• Manage the performance of outsourced service providers, including security, cleaning, pest control, waste management and car park operators.

• Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on operational defects, maintenance issues and improvement works.

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, statutory requirements, fire-safety regulations and workplace safety standards.

• Coordinate emergency-response exercises, incident investigations and business-continuity arrangements.

• Work closely with the Facilities, Leasing and Marketing teams on tenant handovers, fit-out activities, mall events and promotional campaigns.

• Support the preparation and monitoring of operating budgets, service contracts, procurement exercises and expenditure.

• Review operational reports, service standards and contractor KPIs, recommending improvements where required.

• Perform duty-manager responsibilities and provide operational coverage during emergencies or major mall activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least five years of relevant experience in retail mall or commercial property operations, including supervisory experience.

• Strong knowledge of mall operations, vendor management, safety requirements and tenant servicing.

• Effective leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

• Comfortable responding to operational matters outside regular working hours when necessary.
